Story behind

Jonathan Gasca is a young, traditional coffee farmer from Huila, the heart of Colombia's most productive coffee region. Jonathan's grandparents and parents already placed great importance on growing high-quality coffee and Jonathan and his brother Johan now focus on specialty coffee with various different varieties.

Jonathan starts the process with the careful manual harvest of only the ripest cherries, which are then subjected to anaerobic fermentation for 24 hours. In the next step, the coffee is washed in the traditional way and finally dried in the sun for five to eight days, depending on the climate.

The result is a coffee that embodies the essence of Colombia: a soft, rich cup with notes of milk chocolate, roasted almonds and a hint of syrup. This coffee of the "Colombia" variety is an excellent example of a balanced and full-bodied coffee from this region.
