Story behind

Kagumo – our first Kenyan coffee in the lineup! Super excited!

Kagumo Natural is a relatively rare naturally processed coffee from Kenya. Compared to the classic washed Kagumo, the natural process brings more sweetness and intensified fruitiness while preserving Kenya’s vibrant acidity.

The natural processing at Kagumo Factory follows the traditional Ethiopian-style dry process, adapted to Kenya’s climate and quality standards. Since Kenyan factories are primarily set up for washed coffees, natural lots are produced in small quantities, with careful selection and monitoring throughout the process.

In the cup, this coffee reminds us of forest berries, plum and red wine, with a juicy, balanced finish. We love it!

Kagumo is roasted light-medium and works beautifully as an omni-roast, whether you prefer a classic pour-over or a fruity espresso.

We source this green coffee through our import partner "Plot Coffee".
