Story behind

Edinson Argote is a passionate young coffee producer with extensive experience in the industry. Now, at Quebraditas Coffee Farm, a venture he runs with his family, he cultivates exotic coffee varieties like Gesha, Bourbon Sidra, Ombligon, Chiroso, and Laurina. Highlighting family ties, hard work, and a drive for progress, Edinson’s journey reflects his commitment to quality and innovation in coffee production.

This Orange Bourbon impresses with its classic notes of orange and grapefruit with a citrusy touch. The coffee is processed using the "advanced washed" method:

  1. Oxidation: This is done in food-grade plastic drums for 24 hours
  2. Pulping: The cherries are pulped dry
  3. Fermentation after pulping: For 24 hours in order to remove the mucilage
  4. Fermentation: For 72 hours at temperatures below 25°C with Peach and specific yeast
  5. The coffee is washed
  6. Drying: After the 72 hours of fermentation, the coffee goes into drying, which is carried out mechanically for 42 hours at 38°C, followed by stabilisation in grainpro-type bags

Light roast and recommended for all pour over brewing methods. Goes very well as experimental Espresso and in combination with milk, too.

The green coffee is imported through our import partner "MiCafe".
